In a momentous occasion blending innovation with tradition, the College of Food Technology at the Central Agricultural University (CAU) in Imphal, Manipur, celebrated the inauguration of its Liquid Bio-fertilizer Production Unit and Food Museum in an Eco-tourism setting. The ceremony, graced by Her Excellency Governor of Manipur, Anusuiya Uikey, marked a significant step towards sustainable agriculture and cultural preservation in the region.
The event, held at the College of Food Technology campus, saw the esteemed presence of key dignitaries including Dr. Anupam Mishra, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of CAU, Prof. Indira Sarangthem, Director of Instruction at CAU, and Prof. Ng. Iboyaima Singh, Dean of the College of Food Technology.
The ceremony commenced with the arrival of Governor Anusuiya Uikey, followed by the felicitation of dignitaries. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the unveiling of the Liquid Bio-fertilizer Production Unit and the North East Food Museum, both pivotal projects contributing to agricultural advancement and cultural heritage conservation.
