“This exciting project represents the signing of the second biomethane plant by BSOG Energy for Romania. The cooperation with Unigrains is anticipated to provide BSOG Energy with another 57 MW of biomethane production. In removing organic waste from the environment and simultaneously developing green gas to displace natural gas and organic fertilizers to replace chemical fertilizers, we trust this project has the potential to significantly contribute to the energy sustainability of Romania.

The realization of this project requires a supportive regulatory framework, and we look forward to working together with the relevant authorities towards a shared goal of establishing large-scale biomethane developments in the country.

Black Sea Oil & Gas’ shareholders, global investment firm Carlyle, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, are fully supportive of this new venture.”
