Asia-Pacific Biofertilizers and Biopesticides Information Platform (APBB) Call for Papers
The Food and Fertilizer Technology Center (FFTC) for the Asian and Pacific Region took the initiative in June 2022 to establish an Asia-Pacific Biofertilizers and Biopesticides Information Platform (APBB Platform), to continue the joint efforts of the 5-years ICBB (2016-2020 International Conference on Biofertilizers and Biopesticides) project conducted by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO), the Ministry of Agriculture (Taiwan), and China Productivity Center (Taiwan) in accordance with the recommendations of the ICBB conferences.
The purpose of the APBB Platform (https://apbb.fftc.org.tw/), through collecting articles, latest scientific publications, news, and updated regulations prepared by contracted partners and experts from the Asian and Pacific countries, is to facilitate information exchange and address challenges and opportunities arising from the development of B&B sectors, as a way to strengthen the sustainability and resilience of agricultural systems against threats from climate change, natural resources constraints, and food safety. Additionally, commercially registered products and proven applications of biotechnology relevant to biofertilizers and biopesticides to crops are also included.
There are two ways to publish your papers on APBB Platform:
1. Submit manuscripts to contracted partners (please click here for their contact information).
2. Submit manuscripts directly to FFTC.
Once papers are accepted and published on the APBB Platform, authors will receive remuneration at a rate of New Taiwan Dollars (NTD) 2.4 per word, up to a maximum of NTD10,000 per paper. In case of remittance in USD, the exchange rate at the time of remittance will be applied. The word count does not include author profiles, references, supplementary files, as well as legends of figures, photos and pictures.
The manuscript format can be found here(link is external). Please kindly follow the instructions and submit in Word format (.doc or .docx), including all text, figures, and tables for review and editing. Author(s) of the manuscript are required to read and agree to the terms and conditions of the APBB Platform Copyright Assignment Agreement(link is external).
We warmly invite experts in related fields to submit biofertilizers and biopesticides-related papers (1,500–4,000 words) for consideration.
All the manuscripts will be under internal review, which is coordinated by APBB technical reviewers and the FFTC-APBB management team. The authors should then revise their articles, according to reviewers’ comments, and send it back to the original contact channel.
